The Educational Publishing Awards Australia (or EPAA) recognise excellence in print and digital educational publishing. The ceremony brings publishers within Australia together to present their best work to the judges.
This year, Pearson had five products shortlisted (see Pearson's shortlisted products here). Last night (Thursday, 17 September 2015), the EPAA held their 22nd award ceremony and Pearson brought home seven trophies!
David Barnett, Managing Director of Pearson Australia, believes the success last night is recognition of Pearson's commitment to producing the very best education resources.
"In one of our very best years ever at the Educational Publishing Awards Australia, Pearson won seven of the categories, including the prestigious overall winner (a three category winner), Pearson Lightbook.
Every one of these products represents the very best of Pearson's publishing heritage and pedigree, coupled with the creative energy of our people and our authors, who are together constantly searching for new ways to support our learners and our instructors. And whilst the ultimate measure of success is the impact our products have on learning, we are delighted to receive this industry recognition."
